Barrow Gurney Cricket Club enjoys a beautiful setting, lying in the heart of the North Somerset countryside.
We currently have a 1st XI which plays in the Bristol District Division 4, a 2nd XI in Division 13 and a midweek T20 team playing in the Bristol T20 League. We also play a few friendly games including our annual regular game against the "Legends" - former Barrow players showing off their skills of yesteryear.
New players are always welcome. Barrow Gurney prides itself on developing all players and, in particular, we have a growing number of girl and women cricketers, two of whom have gone on to represent Somerset at county age group cricket and one who has represented Somerset and Cornwall in the County Championship. In 2018 we opened a female changing room in recognition of the part that women cricketers play in all our teams. Training for adults takes place at the ground 6 pm to 8.30pm on Tuesday evenings in the summer.
