What is social prescribing?

This is when you are referred or signposted into non-clinical services by a professional as a way of supporting or improving your health and wellbeing.

Social Prescribing Link Workers are new posts, funded by the NHS, who will support you and make referrals on your behalf into community services.

Do you want to get involved in your community and help others?

There are hundreds of local community organisations registered that you can help by volunteering.

Maybe you want to work with animals, help the homeless, or get involved in a fundraising event - whatever it is, there is someone out there who needs your help.
