The History Society meets on the second Tuesday of the month (except July and August), in the George Thiery Room at Shipham Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm. Annual membership is a very reasonable £10, with £2 payable at each meeting attended. Visitors are very welcome at any meeting for a small fee of £4, which includes not only a very interesting evening but a friendly crowd of members.
